Nick Wins Myrtle Beach Golf Trip 2000 by 5 Strokes

After leading by as many as 15 strokes Nick holds off Ben by 5 strokes.  Before Sunday's round Nick was up on Ben by 14 strokes and up on Eric by 6.  Eric wasn't able to perform like he did the previous day but Ben was able to put on a "Tiger" like charge shooting a career best 82.  Eric wound up 3 strokes behind Ben and the nearest competitor was Brian who was a distant 13 strokes behind Eric.  On average the scores look pretty high.  Our group totaled 4025 strokes, which is an average of 100.6.   

Highlights of Trip

• Nick shooting an 81 on the first day
• Denny's sand chip in from about 20 yards
• Big C's chip in from about 30 yards
• Nick's 90 yard chip in
• Ben's career best 82
• Dinner at Drunken Jack's during a rain storm
• Nick's jump into the ravine (or whatever you want to call it)
• John leaving for his fiance after 2 rounds of golf (good luck John)
• Eric throwing his driver longer than his drive
